We are a breeder of Registered Angus Bulls and Cattle located in middle Tennessee, about 60 miles southwest of Nashville. 

Our family's philosophy is to raise top quality herd bulls with low-birth calving ease and high carcass production.  We use top quality A.I. sires coupled with high performing herd bulls to continually grow and improve our breeding program.     All Mathis Angus bulls for sale qualify for TAEP.

We also sell high quality open heifers, which will be a great addition to your breeding stock.

We are Beef Quality Assurance certified, Master Beef Producer certified and members of the American Angus Association.  Our herd was recognized by the American Angus Association as a historic Angus herd, with continuous operations for over 50 years.   In 2010 we were honored by the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association as Outstanding Beef Producer.   We are long time consignors at the University of Tennessee Performance Junior and Senior Bull Sales and have had the top gaining senior bulls in 2010 and 2014 and junior bull in 2012.   We rank in the Top 10 annually in registering Angus cattle in Tennessee as announced by the American Angus Association, and have many registered Pathfinder cows.
